Jennifer Aniston Plans for Motherhood When Friends Ends
Hollywood
actress Jennifer Aniston has confirmed she and husband Brad Pitt will kick
off plans to become parents as soon as her hit TV show Friends finishes.
Aniston became Spy Game hunk Pitt's wife in July 2000 and the pair have
since been bombarded with questions about when they plan to procreate.
And the sexy New York native, who is paid $1 million per episode to star
in the sitcom, says in the May edition of women's magazine Harper's Bazaar
that once she's done with playing Rachel, she'll be ready to play mom.
She says, "When are we having them? When Friends is finished. We had
a window there when Rachel was pregnant on the show. It would have been
great, but we were doing other things."

Courteney, Penelope, Mya to Add Fizz
STEPHEN M. SILVERMAN
Pepsi had Madonna, Britney and now Beyonce -- so now Coke is borrowing a few tips from its rival and plugging Penelope Cruz, Courteney Cox and Mya into its advertising.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Coca-Cola is introducing a new ad campaign "with a lineup seemingly torn straight from the pages of PEOPLE magazine."
According to the paper, "Friends" star Cox, 38, is shown in one commercial pouring a Coke for her husband, actor David Arquette, 31. In another, Cruz, 28, is guzzling the soft drink (apparently without the aid of her reputed squeeze, Tom Cruise, 40). She also burps.
Meanwhile, singer and "Chicago" costar Mya, 23, delivers a hip-hop rendition of Eddie Harris's "Compared to What."
"By showing celebrities in real-life situations," the Journal reports, "Coke hopes to drive home the point that its brand still deserves to be an integral part of people's everyday lives."
The slogan, which is also to be featured in a new print-ad campaign, will be "Coca-Cola Real," which echoes the drink's classic "The Real Thing" tagline.
The first 90-second commercial (the one starring Mya) is due to be aired Monday during the American Music Awards on ABC.

Friends Coming Back for 10th Season
STEPHEN M. SILVERMAN
Fans of "Friends" got an unexpected early Christmas present this weekend: the news that their favorite show is coming back for a 10th season.
As PEOPLE reported in a cover story two weeks ago, despite the long-held belief that this was to be the NBC hit's final season, "Signals from New York City to Los Angeles increasingly suggest 'Friends' will be back for one more season. Why? Because the cast members still like it -- and NBC still needs it."
And, sure enough: Saturday's New York Times revealed the happy news.
"NBC," said the paper "was close to a deal last night that would bring television's biggest hit comedy, 'Friends,' back to the network for another season."
Not that the agreement with the show's creative team and its cast -- Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc -- came cheaply, The Times reports.
"The network is expected to agree to pay the highest price in television history for a 30-minute show, as much as $9 million an episode, to bring the show and all six of its stars back, eclipsing the almost $7 million NBC is paying this season."
Some industry estimates on Sunday calculated that NBC could end up paying as much as $240 million for the 10th season. (And that's for only 18 episodes next year, compared to the usual 24 episodes per season.)
By Monday morning, a "Friends" 10th season was considered a done deal, leaving viewers to turn their attention to another red-hot show that could be up for renewal, despite claims that next year would bring its final season: HBO's "The Sopranos."
Stay tuned. (from People.com)
